Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Virtual Events Manager to lead and manage our online networking events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants. As a Virtual Events Facilitator, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, guiding conversations, and promoting interaction among attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate virtual networking events, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
- Manage the technical aspects of virtual events, including Zoom or other online platforms.
- Lead activities and discussions to encourage participation and foster connections.
- Monitor the event chat and address any technical or participant issues in real-time.
- Provide support to guest speakers or presenters, ensuring their content is delivered effectively.
- Report feedback from participants to improve future events.
- Complete post-event administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the Twisted Networking team to plan and promote upcoming events.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor throughout all interactions.
Must Have
- Previous experience in event facilitation, virtual event management, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
- Proficient in using Zoom and other virtual event platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with public speaking and leading group discussions.
- Passion for networking and helping others connect.
- Familiarity with Twisted Networking’s mission and values.
